Basic First Aid Course

Overall, the course is a huge success! 35 out of 40 showed up on both days! We learned bandaging, theory and CPR! The test was simply not expected. Why?

1. Mdm Tye, the speaker gave us the bandaging test right after she taught us one bandage. It's way so different than previous year whereby situations will be given and we were to tie suitable bandages.
2. The theory paper was based on the book we bought. If compared to previous years, the theory test consist of first aid as well as knowledge about Malaysia Red Crescent, i.e. the founder of MRC, etc.
3. We had to perform CPR. It's no longer DR.ABC. They have changed it to DR.ABCD.
   

So, the participants were freezing cold in a room with such low temperature. Throughout the course, we constantly visited the washroom. Pictures were taken but, there's a but! I'M TOO LAZY TO UPLOAD THEM! There, Huey Lin and I were like mothers to 33 kids when it's lunch break. We had to wait for them to cross the road and finish eating. Second day ended 3 hours earlier from what was expected. Everyone's glad that it was over. *sigh*
