CharlieAlphaMikePapa 3

So, the third day of the camp. As usual, we woke up early. Only today we woke up at 6.10am instead of 5.30am. I don't know why, probably extra sleeping period for all of us. We did some morning exercise too, but this time it wasn't being conducted by that weird guy. We jog around the open field for two rounds. Later, we went to the hall for basic warm-ups. All group leaders were asked to perform at least one move. We, members, had to follow.

After breakfast, we attended a talk in the hall about amateur radios. OMG!!!! Most of us couldn't stand the talk cos it's damn boring. Many campers washed their faces throughout the talk. There were a total of three places we had to visit. First, we went to the hall where the instructors taught us how to use phonetics. Then, we were given a chance to actually relay a message through an amateur radio. There were four basic stuff which we weren't allowed to use.
  • Politic
  • Business
  • Religion
  • Sex
Second meeting point was the classroom where we learned Morse code. We had to figure out what the code was. It's hard yet challenging. The instructor purposely made mistakes in certain sentence although we guessed the word correctly. I must salute the Quebec's team leader, Lam Yan Wei. Although they gave responses late and the instructor said he might deduct the marks from his groups, he didn't seem to care. He showed great enthusiasm throughout the process. In the end, they're the team with highest points.

Final spot was the canteen. We were given a chance to get exposed to the world of amateur radios. After that, it's the BSM History and IHL exam. We're given one hour to complete it. After that, it was the climax of the camp. MALAM BELIA. We were the first school to perform. It ended really well, with us singing the E-M-O song.
E is for emotional, ruins everybody's day
M is for miserable people
O is for on the dark side
Cos we have some fresh cookies.....WHOO!!!!
SMK Jit Sin had problemwith their performance cos of the CD. It got stuck in the middle so they had to dance without music blasting in the hall. The emcee invited them for five times to the stage to perform and finally it did work out and they perform with the full song. They're the one grabbing the title "Best Performance".
