Had duty at the Goddess of Mercy Temple after school today.....rushed for it like hell.....got 7 bucks as our pay.

After duty, rushed back to school, then to my house, then to school AGAIN. Wow ! ! ! We do LOVE the school until we don't wanna part away from it.....3dow

English lessons seemed, maybe not just seem to be, it's really very fun. Ms Kanages, that's it. Today's class was seriously enjoyable.

Ms Kanages : The basic that makes up a sentence is "Subject + Verb". What about this sentence, "Sit down."
*thinking*
Ms Kanages : Is it a sentence?
*remained silence*
Ms Kanages : How many of you actually agree that it's a sentence????
*hands were slowly raised*
Ms Kanages : How many did not agree with that???
*hands were raised up too*
Ms Kanages : The word "sit" is a verb while "down" is an adjective. "Sit down" doesn't have a subject. So,
how many still thinks it's a sentence???
*More hands were raised, but some remained firm with their point. Theresa tried to explain that a sentence needs a subject and a verb but failed*
Ms Kanages : Can I have one more to try out? *pointed at Panda*
Panda : I dunno but I think it's a phrase.
Ms Kanages : OK. I can accept her answer cos she thinks it's a phrase. Let me tell you. A sentence
N-E-E-D-S a subject and a verb. So, you were all wrong. But let me tell you, "Sit Down" is actually a sentence.
*blur*
Ms Kanages : *added a (YOU) in front of "Sit Down"* When I say sit down, I'm referring to you. So, there's a subject, an invisible one.
Saras : No, cheating ! ! !
Ms Kanages : I'm not cheating. It's true. It carries a subject in the sentence.
