First day of holidays!!!!!

Guess what???? I woke up around 8.30am, feeling a bit miserable. Today, the prefects were off to KL for a trip organized by the BOP. I didn't join the trip cos I had something else to do.

So, what's yesterday's event????? I spent the whole day in Queensbay. We reached there at around fifteen to ten o'clock in the morning. My sister and I participated in the MSIG Samurai Sudoku. Hers was exactly at ten. Mine was at 1.30 in the afternoon. Each round took only ten minutes to complete. So, guess what again??? I spent the day in Popular and Borders. I saw one of Jodi's must read book with a thirty percent discount. So, it only cost around twenty-three bucks. Unfortunately, I didn't buy it.

Before my turn, we actually planned to have our lunch in Pizza Hut. Tell you what????? The service there was so bad that three customers left the restaurant just like that without ordering. After five minutes, my dad said it's just a waste of time. So, we're the forth customer to leave. We filled our stomaches with some cakes in ROTIBOY. What a name. I registered myself at the information counter and started straight away after the briefing. I managed to advance myself to the second round but unfortunately couldn't enter the final round. Among the twenty-five participants, only three managed to make it to the final with 100% accuracy.

Thumbs-up for my sis cos she was able to make it to the final, competing against other seventeen individuals. However, she didn't managed to grab hold of the placings. The second runner-up walked away with RM300, first runner-up with RM500 and the champion with RM1000. They'll be representing the Penang Regional to compete with other contestants from other states in KL early January 2009. We left Queensbay after nine. So, we practically spent 12++ hours there. I entered Borders three times and that made the guard to smile each time I made the entrance.

Before I call it a day, here's the familiar faces that I met there:-
1. Oh Tze Ching (a Form 3 student from CLS)
2. Sam Jo Lene (a Form 4 prefect who's there to give support to her friend who participated in the contest)
3. Pn Lee Bee Guat (she's there with her family)
4. A Form 1 student (forgotten her name)
5. Tuition mate (he looked so blur)
