Retirements.......sad

Oh gosh, everyone seems to be so emotional today. No lessons in classes because we were in the hall celebrating Mrs Amy Tan's retirement. Speeches were given first as usual. And Mrs Amy Tan's "short" speech was wow really "short". Guess what???? It took around at least twenty minutes. But then, it's her day, so let it be. Everyone in the hall, I mean the students only shouted and cheered and screamed when Mrs Amy Tan hugged Mr Chan and Mdm Lee Low Choon. We could have snap some pictures if not for the school rules. So I'm counting on the Form 2 to supply me pictures to be kept in my file.

They celebrated her birthday too on the stage although it's not today. The teachers performed a dance on the stage. Ms Loh looked really really pretty today though. As for the choir, they sang You Raise Me Up. It's so emotional that students started crying. Then, the group left, leaving seven members behind. They sang two songs. Angela didn't performed her solo part because Mdm Lim took over the microphone. Gosh, missed her singing part.

She receives a lot of gifts from students as well as students. Money was given off too. But then, Mrs Amy Tan donated it to the school fund and said she would donate the sum given by the teachers to the school. So, the fund is at least one thousand plus.

All the teachers sent her off in a car. A really cute car driven by her husband, Mr Tan and her passenger, of cos Mrs Amy Tan herself. They attached a string of cans behind of the car so it actually would sound when it's driven off on the road. There were reporters too. So that's all about her retirement. I have no idea who's the next Principal but then better be a woman.

After doing my duty, I went home and had my lunch. I slept after that, not directly from my lunch because according to research, if you sleep after eating, you'll have a tummy. I switched on the computer after I woke up. Poor Saras, she had to go to school to take the flag. But then it was with KPN.

I'm gonna do some maths and living skills if possible before my tuition. I might as well bring it there because my tuition starts a bit later.

Today is Ms Nachiamal's birthday. Saras and I blurted out the wish and she's like "Ok, ok." Yesterday was one of my senior's birthday but then didn't wish her in school. Came back, I felt like so bad. So, I asked someone to send the message to her. She's just so cute and funny.

So I'm gonna share a few things. First, jokes. Then, songs.
1) Why is there no footprint on the dessert but there's an ant on it????
2) Why is it the owner know that the ant is in the fridge even when he didn't open it???????
3) Why is it that a bull stop driving on the road?????

The answers are:
1) Because the ant is on a bike.
2) Because the ant parked its bike beside the fridge.
3) Because it's red light and the bull has to stop driving on the road.

Last item for today; the songs. You'll get the rhythm after getting used to the songs.
King kong tiao,
King kong tiao,
King kong luan luan tiao,
Luan luan tiao,
Luan luan tiao,
Puak toh lok long kau.

I changed the lyrics yesterday. Here's the song.
Chicken wing,
Chicken wing,
Chicken luan luan puey,
Luan luan puey,
Luan luan puey,
Jip ki Saras er pato.
